Ten years of scraped knees, grass-stained jeans, pockets full of treasures, and adventures that end with dirt on everything. Since 2016, Cat & Jack has dressed childhood in all its wonderfully unpredictable glory. Built on the belief that kids should be free to be kids, Target's beloved children's clothing brand celebrates individuality, imagination, and the beautiful chaos of growing up. A decade later, the clothes may be worn, the sizes outgrown, and the knees a little worse for wear, but the spirit of childhood remains wonderfully unchanged. Here's to ten years of living in the moment—and wearing every bit of it.

Ten years of childhood. A million scraped knees. And not a single reason to slow down. Wear Them Out is a speculative anniversary campaign celebrating the beautiful destruction that comes with growing up. Rooted in Cat & Jack's one-year satisfaction guarantee, the concept turns a practical retail promise into an invitation to live a little louder, play a little harder, and make a glorious mess along the way.
As Creative Director, I developed the campaign strategy, narrative, art direction, and visual storytelling across photography, film, and print. The challenge was to transform a return policy into an emotional connection—celebrating childhood's fleeting magic while exploring how a simple brand promise could inspire loyalty long after the clothes have been outgrown.
Same shoes. Better stories.
Worn for 365 days. Loved for every single one.
The mission:
Childhood was never meant to stay clean.
Grass-stained knees, scuffed shoes, and pockets full of treasures are proof of a life well played. WEAR THEM OUT was built on the belief that every stain holds a story, every tear marks an adventure, and the best days rarely end with clean clothes.
For Cat & Jack, supporting childhood means embracing the beautiful mess of growing up. Because clothes can be replaced. These moments can't.
